The `CNC' range of Multi-Slide lathes has 2 machine bed sizes and 2 spindle capacities. The machines are equipped with a 2 axes front and rear slide as well as twin top slide. Both machines have an 8 station Z-axis turret slide, and can be equipped with turret power tooling to 4 stations an pick-off unit allowing secondary operations. The machines are supplied with either an Interactive Touch Screen PC Control or Multi-Axis ISO Fagor 8070 Control; both systems allowing simultaneous machining. The machines are complete with parts catcher, coolant tank and swarf conveyor.

Applications

The `CNC' range of Multi-Slide lathes is a concept of machine for high production of series of pieces that requires primary and secondary operations and cannot be developed with  cam machines and do not justify the capacities of higher range machines.

The possibilities of configuration of their 7 axes, distributed in different drives, equip the machine with the possibility of mechanizing simultaneously up to 3 tools. Its two spindle (main and pick-off) can be synchronized in position and speed, as well as the unit of second operations, equips to the machine with a great versatility and a considerable diminution in the time of mechanized.

The technical service of UNAMUNO collaborates with its customers in the configuration of mechanize processes with the objective to obtain the best performance of the machine. Training courses of programming and the study of the most suitable configurations of workpieces are imparted (depending on its problematic of mechanized, times, materials, etc.).
