Technical Specifications

This range of machines is designed to carry out the machining processes required at the ends of tube components.  They cover a wide spectrum of diameters, lengths, materials and processes.
This type of special machines is configured on the base of a turning headstock and they are equipped with special systems for finishing, verification and selection of the workpieces. The machine is supplied complete with the necessary storage system and tube load and unload system.
The handling equipment is a modular design which allows for a greater array of adjustment for tube diameter and length and to include or eliminate sub processes.

The objective of this type of machines is to complete the machining process of a series of sizes of tubes on a single machine.  This machine is adjustable and flexible but still maintains a capacity for very high production. It has a wide range of posible tube diameters with a maximum length of 12 metres.

Configuration

The machine is configured to suit the machining operations to take place on the main spindle whilst at the same time the feeding, loading and unloading processes are designed and integrated into the machine process.  Wherever possible several tube operations are undertaken simultaneously in order to give the best possible production performance

The machine allows for reconfiguration according to the quality, size or length of the tube to be machined. Also sub process can be modified to accommodate a variety of tube types.

Applications

The main application of this type of machine is for tube components of different lengths and diameters that require machining processes such as turning and threading, with a requirement for short cycle times and high quality.

• Special machines for quality tube with diameters over 60mm and lengths up to 1200mm
• Special machines for aluminum tube
