The special machines for great series are conceived to give answer to the necessities of machining of series of special pieces whose process cannot be completed in a lathe and requires auxiliary operations and demands hard specifications of time and precision.
This type of special machines is configured according to the customer necessities and they are equipped with turning, threading, finishing, verification and selection subsystems. The machine is completed with the load-unload system.
The set of subsystems must be developed in a modular and reconfigurable way to allow the processing of different diameters and lengths of piece and to eliminate or to include subprocesses.
The objective of this type of machines is to complete the process of machining of big series of pieces in a single machine, this machine must be reconfigurable and with a very high capacity of production. The piece diameters range goes from 20mm to 100mm and a maximum length of pieces is of 2.000mm.
Configuration
The machine is configured depending on the manufacture processes required by the workpiece. Initially, the machining processes are configured (turning, threading, b oring,...) and they are completed with the rest of the processing in a parallel configuration. This configuration allows to do several operations of the sequence to different pieces in parallel increasing dramatically the productivity of the machine.
