Configuration

  • Base: it is built so that the coolant tank and pump as well as the transmission system for cycles and speeds are housed inside the machine. It also is provided with doors to make access to these parts easier.
  • Headstock:: it is cast in stabilized perlitic nodular material thus obtaining a highly rigid structure against bending and torsion stress. It houses the main shaft, camshaft and tempered and rectified guides for the radial and axial slides.
  • Camshaft: located above the machining position and is therefore protected against shavings. On the camshaft the locking cam, piece stop, flat cams of the radial slide and cam of the axial slide are placed. The cams turn in oil bath. The replacing and setting are extremely fast.
  • Machining tools: the lathe has six tools; three radial and other three axial ones.
    - Radial Tools: two tools placed in the toolholder and a third in a slide with dovetail guide, which gives rigidness to carry out tough machining operations.
    - Axial Tools: the lathe has a slide of axial movement sliding on two tempered and rectified cylindrical guides, in which is mounted a rolling, boring and interior/exterior threading tool.

 

Equipment

  • Longitudinal knurling device: the knurling tool is adapted for lengthwise knurling using the boring slide. Both knurls can be adjusted to the corresponding diameter and it is possible to bore simultaneously. Image
  • Roller turning device: it has the great advantage of working with two rollers to centre the bar while rolling long pieces at the same time.Image
  • Device of turning and boring of long and thin pieces: this device is adapted for the drilling and turning of long and thin stems.Image
  • Combined interior-exterior threading and boring device: It is mounted in the longitudinal slide. It allows M8 on soft materials, M6 on steel; thread depth 15mm; motor of 2 speeds.. Image
  • Interior channels device: this device is used for any type of channel, in interior diameters.

  • Circular device tool: this accessory has the advantages of circular tools with constant profile.Image
  • Copier device for long pieces: this tool is very useful for irregular pieces, mainly for long pieces, cones, etc.Image
  • Double drill device: it serves for conical pieces and widths exterior channels.Image
  • Turning device: this tool is used for the finishing turning of rods (maximum 35mm) countersinking and edge finishing. Like the other sight tools it is fixed to the boring sight. Four inter-changeable lahe cutter holders are supplied:
    Nº202/0=0º. Nº202/15/15=15º. Nº101/30=30º. Nº202/45=45º

  • Threading by milling device: this accessory consists of a driving gear mounted on the end of the main spindle and on the milling unit which is mounted on the rear transversal support. It can be used to cut exterior threads in brass and aluminum, and mainly when the thread is located behind the neck of a piece. Maximum thread diameter M14 in brass/M16 in steel. Image
  • Fast drilling device: for drilling very small holes (smaller than 2-3mm). It is mounted in the standard drilling slide. A 2,800 rpm and 0,25kw motor drives the drilling sight in the opposite direction of the main spindle, by which very high speeds area obtained for small holes. Maximum diameter of clamp 6,5mm. Image
  • Double boring device: it is placed in the longitudinal slide, being used when it is necessary to carry out two drillings in a piece. Maximum drill diameter 10mm, drilling depth 20mm.Image

 

Applications

This lathe has been designed for the manufacture of small pieces that demand a great production and medium precision.
